This corpus of 125 silk screen printed monotypes was created to relate a driven journey on Highway 11 between Quebec City and Winnipeg (2017). Focussing on landscape markers and memories I had in mind from the first time I drove the route in 2015, it is the information collected in-situ that was translated into patterns from a total of 17 different patterns. Each pattern is related to the one-stop I did on the road and is a graphic interpretation of some distinctive feature from the environment. This body of work expresses the diversity of space dynamics using combinations of details, shapes, and colors within a common poetic language.
